The Program in a Nutshell
There are a lot of moving parts to this machine.
We have our hub for all communication and accountability where I also dish out weekly exercises, resources, and support.
We have once a month guest expert calls where students get a personalized presentation from heavy hitters in the game like past experts: Lauren Hom, Liz Gray, James Martin, Tom Ross, Maggie Enterrios, and Molly Jacques.
This time around we’ve been lucky to get schooled by Adam Vicarel, Amy and Jen from Hoodzpah, and Lincoln Design Co.
However, the real commitment is the weekly Hot Seat Call.
Every Tuesday, we spend 2 hours going deep in group breakout sessions, celebrating wins, and workshopping struggles as a family.
I massively believe in my student’s talents and potential, and I’ll use this little stage I’ve built to spotlight their creative genius.
A huge perk about being in the program is that one of our Hot Seat Calls gets turned into a podcast episode...which is what you’re experiencing today!
There are no fancy mics or planned agendas.
This is eight hungry creatives making time to meet outside of day jobs and life responsibilities in pursuit of their next big breakthroughs.
